Neil Hicks

The “Hicks” behind Hicks Construction. Neil received his first new home construction experience in 1988 working during the summer framing. In 1993, he began work full-time for a residential and commercial contractor where he learned all aspects of the trade. In 1996, he further developed his finish carpentry skills working the next seven years specializing in trim work, millwork, and staircases.
In 2003, Neil became a licensed contractor and began building homes as Neil Hicks Builders. He worked with McCall Construction from 2006 – 2019. In February of 2019 he branched out on his own again and formed Hicks Construction, LLC.
Neil is a native of Louisville, TN and graduated from William Blount High School in 1991. He’s been married to his wife Melissa for 20+ years. They enjoy spending time with their two daughters and two grandsons.
Melissa

Melissa, the Financial Manager, has been working with Neil since 2020. She handles all of the financial transactions of the business. She will walk you through the project keeping the budget up to date and on track.
Melissa has extensive history in finance. She was in the mortgage industry for thirteen years followed by twelve years as a lead in payroll.
She has been Married to Neil since 2004. They have two daughters and two grandsons. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and watching their youngest daughter play basketball and volleyball.
Hannah

The behind-the-scenes coordinator. Hannah just joined the team this year and is handling estimates and office management. This include coordinating meetings so when you call to schedule, Hannah will be who you will talk to.
Hannah just recently switched career fields as she has worked at UT Medical Center as a CT technologist for 7 years prior to joining the team. Although being the daughter of Neil has given her a leg up in transition into the world of construction full time as she has been around it her whole life.
When she is not working, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons. They are also heavily involved in their church and love spending time with their family and friends.
